Worldwide shortage of Datel PSP Batteries - Pandora’s getting rare!
That’s right folks, there is a worldwide shortage of Datel 1800mAh PSP batteries, including the standard Max Power and red/black Tool versions. This is due to all supply until now being “New Old” stock (NOS) i.e. it had been sat in a warehouse until the recent sudden surge of demand due to Pandora’s Battery. Datel have been trying to source a new manufacturer for the internal cells but this means that no newly manufactured batteries will be available until possibly as late as May 2008.
The Phiine shop has an extremely limited number of 1800mAh batteries left in stock and we are making these available only as part of our PSP Firmware Flashing Kit, so be warned once they’re gone, they’re gone!
Please note that this shortage does not affect our PSP Slim Pandora Battery products or the Datel PSP Hot Wire.
